Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance clinical excellence with team leadership. You will continue to provide hands-on patient care while mentoring therapists and coordinating treatment plans.

The role emphasizes staff development, high-quality patient outcomes, and collaboration with the therapy team to meet departmental goals. A state license in PT/OT/SLP, BLS, and several years of experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire in this role.
• Minimum three years of discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatments and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
