Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance hands-on patient care with team leadership. The role involves evaluating patients, developing therapy plans, and mentoring staff to improve outcomes across the team.

The ideal candidate has a state license in PT/OT/SLP, CPR certification, and at least three years of discipline-specific experience, with leadership experience and professional certifications being a plus.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP is required.
• BLS (CPR) is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years of discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
