Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls seeks a Therapy Team Leader who balances hands-on patient care with team leadership, guiding therapists and staff to deliver evidence-based treatments.

This role requires a current PT/OT/SLP license, CPR, and at least three years of discipline-specific experience; leadership experience is a plus and involvement in staff development and quality improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy plans.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy and monitor patient progress.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, schedules, and training to meet business goals and improve quality.
