Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to lead and mentor a clinical team while continuing to deliver hands-on patient care. You will oversee evaluations, develop treatments, and supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence and team leadership, with responsibilities for staff development, coordinating schedules, and driving continuous quality improvement across the therapy department.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
