Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to blend clinical leadership with hands-on patient care in our rehabilitation setting. You will evaluate patients, develop therapy plans, and supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians to deliver high-quality care.

In this role you will mentor staff, coordinate schedules, drive quality improvements, and support clinical ladder opportunities while ensuring compliant, patient-centered outcomes across a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire for this role.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred or in progress toward leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
