Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to balance clinical excellence with team leadership, supervising therapists while continuing hands-on patient care.

You will provide patient evaluations, develop therapy plans, and coordinate team tasks across staff, striving for meaningful outcomes and continuous quality improvement. This role requires an active PT/OT/SLP license, BLS/CPR, and at least three years of discipline-specific experience, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
