Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to guide and mentor a clinical team while continuing hands-on patient care. The role balances clinical excellence with team leadership to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.

You will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, develop therapy treatments, and coordinate team tasks. A current PT/OT/SLP license and BLS CPR are required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP license required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
