• Reviews pre-authorization intake information to identify potential resource costs and communicate findings to therapy care team.
• Verify patient’s current insurance to ensure continuity of coverage.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance reimbursement.
• Maintains an accurate list of all therapy evaluations for correct reference dates and timely re-assessments.
• Trains backup personnel and facilitates intake activity such as order entry and correct encounter creation.
