Job summary

OSI Physical Therapy is seeking a Therapy Patient Services Representative Float to support patient registration, check-in and clinical tasks in a fast-paced Stillwater clinic. This full-time role also covers coverage at other OSI clinics as needed.

Responsibilities include accurate scheduling, insurance verification, cash handling, and coordinating with front desk staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Customer service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments.
• Chart preparation and management.
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties including: accepting, handling and transferring calls, coordination of interpreters for clinic appointments, and coordination of patient referrals.
• Any and all other duties as assigned such as cleaning, laundry, rooming patients, prepping patients for appointments, etc.
