Job summary

OCC - Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists is seeking a Therapy Front Desk professional to ensure HIPAA, OSHA compliance, and accurate patient intake. You will verify insurance, collect demographics and signatures, greet patients, and support registration workflows to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Key duties include eligibility checks, chart accuracy, appointment validations, pre-registration, and prompt handling of calls and messages, all while delivering courteous service and

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Skills in operating business office machines.
• Skills in answering the telephone in a professional manner.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, employees and the public.

Responsibilities

• Eligibility check.
• Fixing charts/mistakes.
• Phreesia appointment validations; cancellation/reschedules.
• Pre-registration.
• Recognize, greet, and register patients in a polite, prompt and helpful manner.
• ProviderFlow.
• Answer all phone calls and voice messages pleasantly and handle patient needs expeditiously.
• Verify current informational statuses and collect insurance information, demographic information and signatures as needed.
