The role involves independent decision-making within broad goals and supporting daily operations in the physical/occupational therapy setting.

Responsibilities include eligibility checks, chart accuracy, patient pre-registration, and professional interactions with patients and staff to maintain efficient clinic flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Skills in operating business office machines.
• Skills in answering the telephone in a professional manner.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, employees and the public.

Responsibilities

• Eligibility check for patients.
• Fixing charts and correcting mistakes.
• Phreesia appointment validations; cancellation/reschedules.
• Pre-registration of patients.
• Greet and register patients politely and promptly.
• Manage ProviderFlow and patient flow coordination.
• Answer all phone calls and voice messages professionally.
