Job summary
Passavant Memorial Homes in Wexford, PA is seeking responsible, caring Therapeutic Staff Supports (TSS) to provide one-on-one care to children in home or community settings. Duties include preparing meals, transportation, administering medication (certification provided), and helping with daily living activities.
Applicants must be at least 21, have a valid driver's license, and hold a related degree with experience with children with ID or mental health.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (official transcripts required).
- Two years' experience with children with ID or mental health, or an Associate degree with four years' experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support in daily living, social and recreation activities.
- Assist individuals to achieve maximum independence.
- Develop and implement the individual support plan.
- Ensure safety and well-being of individuals.
- Assist with activities in home and community and transportation.
- Administer medications after certification training.
- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties.
