Job summary

Passavant Memorial Homes is seeking compassionate individuals to fill full-time Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) roles in Plum, PA. You will work one-on-one with children and adults in home or community settings, assisting with meals, transportation, and daily activities.

Qualifications

Minimum age 21 years.
Valid driver's license required.
Bachelor's degree in a related field required (official transcripts).
Two years experience working with children with ID or mental health required.
OR: Associate degree or 60 credit hours and four years experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care services and specialized care in daily living, social and recreational activities.
Provide assistance to foster maximum independence of individuals.
Participate in development and implementation of the individual support plan.
Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals.
Encourage participation in home and community activities.
Observe behaviors and changes in condition, document and report accordingly.
Administer medications (training provided) when certified.
Maintain records regarding individuals.
Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties for home and vehicle.
