Job summary

Passavant Memorial Homes in Plum, PA is seeking full-time Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) to provide one-on-one care to children and adults in home or community settings. Duties include preparing meals, transporting to activities, and administering medications with proper training.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years; valid driver’s license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; transcripts required.
• Two years of experience working with children with ID or mental health required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and specialized care in daily living, social and recreational activities.
• Assist individuals to maximize independence.
• Participate in development and implementation of the individual support plan.
• Ensure safety and well-being of individuals.
• Encourage participation in activities at home and in the community.
• Observe behaviors and document changes; report accordingly.
• Administer medications (certification provided).
• Maintain records for individuals.
• Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties.
