ISS STOXX is seeking research analysts to support Thematic Research teams in Rockville, MD or Washington, DC. The term starts January/February 2027 and ends May/June 2027, with long hours during peak weeks in mid-April through May.

The role focuses on governance issues, shareholder proposals, and developing voting recommendations for annual meetings. Analytical, editing, and communication skills are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or higher; relevant work experience preferred in business or governance.
• Strong analytical abilities; excellent editing, reading, writing and oral communication.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Mansioni

• Analyze information to draft reports and issue proxy vote recommendations based on ISS STOXX policy guidelines.
• Perform research on shareholder proposals to be voted on at annual meetings of publicly traded companies.
• Develop understanding of subscriber expectations on governance issues including human rights, climate and sustainability reporting; discuss recommendations.
• Perform other research-related work and duties as assigned.
