ISS STOXX is seeking an Analyst for our U.S. Research team in Rockville, MD or Washington, DC. The role covers proxy analyses for shareholder meetings, with duties including reviewing SEC filings and drafting vote recommendations according to policy guidelines.

This is a spring term position starting February 2027 through May/June 2027, onsite, 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher and demonstrates strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, governance, or law.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and a self-driven work ethic.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment and coordinate with internal parties.
• Familiarity with SEC filings is not required but would be a plus.

Mansioni

• Perform research and complete proxy analyses for shareholder meetings of publicly traded companies.
• Read and understand SEC filings and other disclosures to draft analyses and issue proxy vote recommendations per policy guidelines.
• Develop understanding of governance issues, particularly equity or debt financings.
• Answer internal and external queries on analyses, and discuss policies and vote recommendations.
