Job summary

Burlington is hiring a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment and deliver excellent customer service. You will greet customers at entrances with energy and confidence, monitor entrances and high-risk areas, and report suspicious activity to management.

You will participate in shortage reduction programs, support store leadership, and help uphold safety standards while balancing a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service or related experience.
• Experience in retail, asset protection, or loss prevention is a plus.
• Strong communication and situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer entering or exiting with a friendly, confident greeting.
• Monitor store entrances, exits, and high-risk areas to deter theft.
• Identify and report theft or unusual activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Support and participate in shortage reduction programs and trainings.
