Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure, welcoming store environment while delivering great customer service.

You will be stationed at entrances and high-risk areas, monitoring for theft opportunities and reporting incidents to the Manager on Duty. You will greet customers with a friendly, confident presence, participate in shortage reduction programs, and train associates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-commitment environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet customers and associates with a confident, friendly, energetic presence.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in shortage reduction programs and training of associates.
