Job summary

Burlington is seeking a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with a warm, energetic greeting, and correctly perform bag checks while upholding safety standards.

You will report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty and support training on shortage reduction programs, contributing to a positive store culture and loss prevention efforts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, retail or loss prevention.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances/front of store to deter theft and maintain security.
• Greet customers with a warm, energetic, confident greeting.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store associates per policy.
• Report theft incidents to Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs.
