Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Team Member to create a welcoming environment for Guests. You will greet Guests, operate the POS, verify tickets, and guide Guests to the correct auditorium. You’ll share pricing and movie information and assist with questions, while supporting theatre safety and cleanliness throughout all areas.

The role may involve cross-functional work as Usher, Box Office, or Concessionist depending on staffing needs, with duties expanding to opening/closing tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Basic food handling training or local certification where required.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service and communicates in English.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Responds with a sense of urgency.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Operates POS system for all transactions at the assigned register.
• Verifies tickets at podium and directs Guests to an auditorium.
• Sells tickets in accordance with MPAA ratings and policies.
• Provides pricing, movie information and event details.
• Responds to Guest inquiries in a professional manner.
• Maintains theatre safety and cleanliness in auditoriums and public areas.
• Performs opening and closing duties as assigned.
