Job summary

Regal is seeking an Assistant Manager (hourly) to operate and supervise the theatre and its employees, and to act as a representative to Regal in line with our mission and policies.

You will train, coach and supervise staff, run all projection and audio-visual systems, manage cash handling, ensure safety and compliance, and strive for guest satisfaction. The role requires supervisory experience and a high school diploma, with a flexible schedule including evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; supervisory or theatre experience with certification.
• If serving alcohol, must be of legal age and complete required Beverage Server training.

Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Upholding and administering all theatre policies.
• Train, develop, coach and supervise non-management staff.
• Performing all staff positions as required.
• Operate projection and AV equipment and maintain theatre systems.
• Ensure alcohol certification and training are current where applicable.
• Monitor risk management and guest safety.
• Count, deposit and reconcile all daily receipts.
• Understand dress code compliance and management certification.
• Interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching and disciplining staff under GM oversight.
• Control costs and manage inventory and supplies.
• Supervise theatre maintenance and upkeep.
• Market and promote film engagements and show times.
• Read training materials on harassment and discrimination.
