Job summary

Cinemark is hiring an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations and drive excellent guest experiences. You will be cross-trained across departments and work toward advancement to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre/General Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program.

The role requires completion of required trainings, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and a proactive, customer-focused attitude to lead teams and uphold standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Complete Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Successfully complete basic food handling training and any local requirements.
• Safe Alcohol Service training required when handling alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Follow General Manager direction in daily operations.
• Support GM decisions in staff communication.
• Work across all departments and job functions.
• Train and coach Team Members in their roles.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for GM.
• Inspect theatre, parking, and facilities for safety and upkeep.
• Report repairs or hazards to GM promptly.
• Enforce dress code and present customer-ready appearance.
• Engage with Guests to deliver superior service.
• Enforce Cinemark policies consistently with staff.
• Report employee relations issues following protocol.
• Maintain high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Identify and sanitize high-contact areas; use PPE appropriately.
• Adapt to cleaning tasks schedules and scope as needed.
• Address safety or security concerns as they arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
