Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations and ensure policy adherence. You will be cross-trained in all departments to assist where needed and provide motivational training to team members.

This role offers a path to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing reports for the General Manager, and ensuring exceptional guest service

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred and minimum age 18.
• Complete Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Finish basic food handling training and obtain required health permits where applicable.
• If alcohol is served, complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays; regular attendance.
• Energetic, friendly attitude and excellent guest service.
• Effective cash handling, basic math and clear English communication.
• Ability to train, lead others, work in a team or independently and resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Follows General Manager directions and supports staff decisions.
• Work in all departments; train and coach team members.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspect theatre facilities and report repairs as needed.
• Ensure dress code compliance and superior customer service.
• Enforce Cinemark policies and employee relations reporting.
• Identify safety hazards and address security issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
