Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Theatre Manager to support the General Manager in operating the cinema. You will oversee multiple departments, train staff, handle inventories, and ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have prior theatre management experience, completion of Cinemark's accreditation program, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Must work as an Assistant Manager for a minimum of 6 months in a theatre environment.
• Senior Assistant Manager experience preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and Comprehensive Assessment testing.
• Health card or food handlers permit as required by local regulations.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays (≥40 hours/week).
• Excellent guest service and cash handling skills.
• English communication (verbal and written) with all ages and personalities.
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Participates in administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Oversees inventory and product orders.
• Ensures safety, security, and cleanliness across the theatre.
• Acts as Manager On Duty in absence of the General Manager.
• Maintains professional dress code and customer service standards.
• Communicates with guests to ensure an exceptional theatre experience.
