Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theater operations, lead teams and ensure policy compliance. You will train staff across departments and help prepare reports for the General Manager.

Key responsibilities include guest service excellence, cash handling, and flexible scheduling. You’ll work with a close-knit team to maintain safety, cleanliness and high service standards in a fast-paced cinema environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of Cinemark’s three basic courses within Management Accreditation Program.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains required local/state certification.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all ages and personalities.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to train and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager and supports decisions in communication with staff.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre premises and reports repairs as needed.
• Ensures Team Members follow dress code and provide superior customer service.
• Interacts with Guests to improve service quality.
• Enforces Cinemark policies with fairness and consistency.
• Reports employee relations issues per company protocol.
