Job summary

eMagine is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily theatre operations and mentor staff, ensuring a stellar guest experience. You will manage shift operations, train team members, and uphold safety and policy standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the building, supervising guest recovery, and maintaining compliance with labor and safety regulations while driving high-quality service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and leadership experience required.
• Proven track record in a leadership role within a fast-paced environment.
• 1-2 years of theatre experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality service in a guest-focused environment.
• Ability to identify solutions, improve efficiencies, and drive results.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Understand and assist with execution of operational policies and procedures including labor, cost of sales, revenue control, speed of service and guest satisfaction.
• Assume the role of Manager/Mentor on Duty (MOD) when required, overseeing daily floor operations and coaching the team.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and follow up for efficiency.
• Assist with opening and closing the building, nightly closing paperwork, and shift deposits.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and identify opportunities to enhance the movie-going experience.
• Engage in guest recovery, addressing questions and concerns from guests.
• Assist with staff selection, training, development and employment experience.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure staff adhere to safe practices.
• Maintain emergency, safety, and security procedures.
• Ensure theatre complies with state/federal regulations including labor laws and accessibility.
• Assist with other daily floor management issues as needed.
