Job summary

Marcus Theatres is seeking a Shift Lead to support management in achieving theatre efficiencies and guest satisfaction. You will act as a first contact for guest concerns and assist with coaching, training, and enforcing policies on a fast-paced set.

Reports to the General Manager, varies by location, with daily operations and staff coordination central to the role. The position emphasizes proactive communication, operational accuracy, and customer service excellence within a cinema environment.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months minimum experience in theatre industry.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Willing and motivated to learn new skills, tasks, and software systems to meet changing demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals and objectives.
• Reposition team members during peak periods according to show schedules.
• Process voids, refunds, seat swaps and loyalty points for guest service.
• Ensure theatre terminals are operational and assist guests with concerns.
