Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager in Indianapolis to support theatre operations and leadership development. You will train staff, ensure policies are followed, and contribute to a high standard of guest service across departments.

You will be cross trained, help prepare reports, and participate in the Management Accreditation Program with progression toward Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager roles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains local/state certifications when required.
• Alcohol service training if working with alcohol.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude and excellent guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong communication in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a team and independently; follow directions; sense of urgency.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and lead others; resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions in staff communication.
• Works in all departments and performs theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspects theatre building, parking, landscaping, equipment; reports repairs.
• Ensures staff follow dress code and provide superior customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark policies; reports employee relations issues.
• Maintains high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Ensures safe use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
