Job summary

Regal in Oakland is seeking an Assistant Manager to operate and supervise theatre staff and operations, representing Regal in line with our mission and policies.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong leadership, and ability to manage concessions, inventory, and guest satisfaction, with training in ROM and other certification programs. Compensation is per hour, with benefits including movie passes and 401(k) with company match after six months.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months supervisory experience, or 6 months theatre experience with Cast Certification Program.
• If theatre sells alcohol, must meet state/local training requirements and obtain necessary certificates.
• Ability to supervise, hire, train, coach, and enforce company policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee theatre operations and staff performance.
• Hire, train, coach, and schedule employees; administer disciplinary actions with GM/HR oversight.
• Manage cash handling, deposits, and daily reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, liquor rules, dress code, and company policies.
• Coordinate marketing and promotions for film engagements and showtimes.
