Job summary

Regal is seeking an Assistant Manager to operate and supervise a theatre and its staff, representing Regal in alignment with our mission and policies. The role requires supervising non-management employees, ensuring policy compliance, and managing daily operations, including equipment, alcohol service if applicable, cash handling, and guest satisfaction.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least three months supervisory experience, or 6 months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program, or a combination thereof.
• Alcohol certification and Regal Responsible Beverage Server training if selling alcohol.
• Complete Regal training on harassment and discrimination policies.
• Public speaking and effective communication skills.
• Strong math and reporting abilities.
• Proficient with PC and basic office software.
• Supervisory duties including hiring, scheduling, coaching and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Upholding theatre policies.
• Training, developing, coaching and supervising non-management staff.
• Performing all staff positions as required.
• Operate all projection and audio-visual equipment and related systems.
• Maintain compliance with alcohol service requirements where applicable.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Count, deposit, and reconcile daily receipts.
