Job summary

Regal is seeking an Assistant Manager for our CA theatre. This hourly role focuses on operation, supervision of staff, and acting as Regal’s representative in line with our policies.

You will train and coach staff, manage projection/AV systems, ensure safety, handle cash deposits, and assist with HR tasks under GM oversight. A management certification or potential leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three months supervisory experience, or six months theatre experience with Cast Certification.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise theatre staff and ensure attendance and policy adherence.
• Train, coach and supervise non-management staff.
• Operate projection and AV equipment and manage booth systems.
• Recruit, interview, hire and discipline employees with GM guidance.
• Control costs and manage concession stock and inventory.
• Oversee theatre maintenance and show scheduling.
• Promote film engagements and deliver show times to channels.
• Maintain compliance with training materials on harassment and discrimination.

Education
