Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee theatre operations, train staff, and support the General Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will work across departments, ensuring policies are followed and standards are met, while preparing reports and coordinating daily activities.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program, and strong communication, leadership, and guest service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Food handling training and any local/state certification as required.
• Alcohol service training for managers.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attendance, teamwork, and guest service skills.
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic math.
• Clear English communication and ability to interact with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager and communicate with staff.
• Oversee all theatre departments and functions.
• Train and coach team members in their roles.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Monitor theatre facilities and equipment, reporting needed repairs.
• Enforce policies, dress code, and customer service standards.
• Address safety, security, and incident issues promptly.
• Lead and motivate teams to deliver excellent guest experiences.
