Job summary

AMC Theatres in the United States is seeking a Supervisor to lead the theatre crew, ensure smooth daily operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will coach crew members, manage opening/closing, and handle cash and inventories with accuracy in a fast-paced cinema environment.

The role requires an energetic leader with strong communication and teamwork skills, flexible availability for evenings and weekends, and a commitment to guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Six months of supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.
• Evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability.
• Willing to complete required training and certifications.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and love for people.
• Strong guest service, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite, theatre-specific systems).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and coach theatre crew members through daily responsibilities to ensure strong performance and guest service.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and provide access to vendors for deliveries and repairs during off-hours.
• Assign registers, distribute banks, supply change, and reconcile floor safes.
• Maintain cash-handling accuracy and complete required forms.
• Support inventory processes and crew scheduling; final approval by management.
• Troubleshoot system issues and resolve guest concerns; manage AMC Stubs and refunds.
• Perform daily operational and administrative tasks to keep everything running on schedule.
