Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre. They ensure policies and procedures are followed and standards are achieved. They are cross trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees.

The Assistant Manager can become a Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or General Manager after finishing the Management Accreditation Program and working for a minimum of six months.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completion of basic food handling training and any required local certifications.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to train and lead others.
• Able to resolve conflicts and maintain high work ethics.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions and communicates with staff.
• Works in all departments and performs theatre job functions as needed.
• Trains and coaches team members in their roles.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of theatre facilities and equipment.
• Interacts with guests to provide superior customer service.
• Ensures policy compliance and enforces guidelines consistently.
