Job summary

Cinemark is hiring Team Members to create a welcoming guest experience. You’ll be quick, accurate, and knowledgeable about movies, events, pricing, promotions, and theatre policies across Usher/Box Office/Concession roles as staffing needs arise.

You must be at least 16, able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, and provide excellent guest service with strong English communication. Expect fast-paced shifts in a cinema environment with safety and cleanliness as priorities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift; provides excellent guest service.
• Interpersonal skills include effective communication in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction; responds with urgency.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Operates Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions completed on assigned register.
• Verifies tickets at podium and directs Guests to an auditorium.
• Ensures tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system, studio admittance policy, and company policy.
• Provides pricing, movie, specialist event, alternative movie selections, and general theatre information.
• Responds to phone calls and questions from Guests in a professional and quality customer service manner.
• Conducts theatre inspections to monitor movie presentation and sound quality, watch for film/content theft, and maintain a safe environment.
• Keeps theatre property clean and debris-free across areas.
• Prepares food and operates cooking, warming, and popping equipment.
• Wipes down and sanitizes high-contact areas.
• Complies with local, state, and federal food safety laws.
• Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management.
• Assists with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
