Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate the theatre, follow policies, and train team members. They cross-train in all departments and can progress toward Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager through the Management Accreditation Program.

The role emphasizes guest service, staff coaching, safety, and compliance. Requirements include 18+, HS/GED, completion of Cinemark’s MAP courses, flexible hours, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Complies with local health and safety requirements and certifications as needed.
• Alcohol service training for managers where applicable.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular attendance and reliable performance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude with excellent guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication with all ages and personalities.
• Ability to work in a team or independently, take direction, and show urgency.
• Good time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in staff communication.
• Works in all departments and theatre functions.
• Trains and coaches team members in their roles.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre facilities and coordinates repairs as needed.
• Ensures dress code compliance and guest service quality.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines with fairness and consistency.
• Reports employee relations issues per policy.
• Maintains high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Ensures safety and security, including PPE use.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
