Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily theatre operations, ensuring policies are followed and standards met. You will be cross-trained across departments to support team members and participate in the Management Accreditation Program for progression to Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, aiding in reports, and safeguarding guest experience while upholding Cinemark guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program (MAP) within Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Provides excellent Guest service and accurate cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their job functions.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre, parking lot, landscaping, and equipment; reports issues to GM.
• Ensures dress code compliance by Team Members.
• Interacts with Guests to deliver superior service.
• Follows Cinemark policies and enforces them fairly.
• Reports Employee relations issues to the GM.
• Complies with Employee Relations Protocol.
• Maintains high work ethic and code of conduct.
• Identifies and manages high-contact safety concerns.
• Uses PPE as required for tasks.
• Adapts cleaning tasks by frequency and scope.
• Addresses safety or security issues promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
