Job summary

Emagine Entertainment in Michigan is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead team members, uphold company values, and deliver a premiere guest experience. This role requires a detail-oriented, collaborative leader who can manage shift operations end-to-end and open/close the theater when needed.

You will train and mentor staff, monitor guest satisfaction, enforce safety and policies, and collaborate with managers to optimize daily performance while remaining responsive to guest feedback.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and leadership experience.
• Proven leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Theatre experience preferred (1–2 years).
• Strong guest-focused service orientation.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Understand and assist with execution of operational policies and procedures including labor, cost of sales, revenue control, speed of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Assume MOD when required, overseeing all aspects of daily floor operations and mentoring team members.
• Encourage and require behaviours aligned with company values and purpose.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities and provide follow-up to ensure efficiency.
• Assist with opening/closing the building, nightly closing paperwork, and shift deposits.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and identify opportunities to enhance the movie-going experience.
