The Four Seasons Resort Lana'i is looking for a Bartender who shares a passion for excellence and delivers enthusiastic, personalized service in a luxury island setting. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks with consistency, accuracy, and personalized artistry.
• Provide warm, professional service to bar guests and support staff with bar beverages for the dining room.
• Recognize frequent guests and personalize service based on preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of the bar menu, seasonal offerings, wine list, and pairings.
• Uphold fine dining standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation at the bar.
• Engage guests with refined conversation and education about cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• Manage inventory levels of bar ingredients and supplies; assist with counting, ordering and restocking.
• Follow cash handling, check procedures, PCI guidelines, and adherence to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Work with kitchen, sommeliers, servers, and management to ensure a fluid guest experience.
• Maintain mise en place and readiness for service; prep garnishes, glassware, syrups, and tools.
• Assist in creating seasonal cocktail menus and ideas for beverage pairings.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare and serve drinks with consistency, accuracy, and personalized artistry.
• Provide warm, professional, and anticipatory service to bar guests and support service staff with bar beverages for the dining room guests.
• Recognize frequent guests and personalize service based on their preferences .
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the bar menu, any seasonal offerings, the extensive wine list, and pairing recommendations.
• Uphold fine dining standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation at the bar at all times.
• Engage guests with refined personalized conversation, menu guidance, and education about cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• Manage the inventory levels of bar ingredients and supplies; assist with counting, ordering and restocking as needed.
• Follow proper cash handling, check procedures, PCI guidelines, and adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Work seamlessly with kitchen, sommeliers, servers, and management to ensure a fluid guest experience.
• Maintain mise en place and readiness for service, including prepping garnishes, glassware, syrups, and all tools.
• Assist in the creation of seasonal cocktail menus and contribute ideas for beverage pairings .

WHAT TO BRING

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs , and push/pull as needed during shifts .
• Weekend and Holiday availability required .
• Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems .
• Strong Customer Service skills
