Four Seasons Resort Lanai is seeking a Pastry Cook I to join our culinary team on Lanai, Hawaii. The candidate will prepare pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods, upholding our high standards for quality and presentation.

This role supports daily pastry production, maintains a clean and organized station, and helps train junior team members in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

• Legal work authorization in United States.

• Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods following established recipes and standards.
• Independently manage a pastry/bakery station and assist in daily production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Pastr y Cook I prepares high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, and specialty baked goods while ensuring consistency, food safety, and presentation standards. This role supports daily pastry and bakery production, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and assists in training junior team members in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods in accordance with established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines while maintaining proper mise en place and station readiness
• Independently manage an assigned pastry/bakery station, supporting daily production
• Operate, maintain , and properly clean pastry and bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, proofers, dough sheeters, steamers, food processors, and slicers
• Manage inventory and product freshness by maintaining par levels, rotating stock, labeling and dating products, monitoring storage temperatures, and identifying shortages or production needs
• Control food costs by minimizing waste, monitoring product usage, and following established inventory and portion-control procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment in compliance with sanitation, safety, and company standards

WHAT TO BRING

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required .

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Hawaii Food Handler's Card and ServSafe is re quired for this role
• Hawaii Driver's Licence /Drivers Abstract is required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 7 0 lbs , and push/pull as needed during shifts
