Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform regular preventative maintenance on large industrial textile processing equipment and to help with general facility upkeep. The role reports to the Chief Engineer and requires a safety-conscious, detail-oriented team player who can follow instructions and work with plant personnel.

Responsibilities include basic mechanical tasks, monitoring oil levels, assisting the Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer, and driving parts or equipment

Qualifications

• Demonstrate adequate mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic maintenance duties on large industrial textile processing equipment.
• Monitors oil levels and conducts preventative maintenance of grease fittings and lint traps.
• Assists Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer as required.
• Maintains safety by following rules and procedures.
• Identifies opportunities to improve maintenance processes.
• Drives or transports parts and equipment as needed.
