Job summary

Alsco Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform regular preventative maintenance on large industrial textile processing equipment and assist the Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer. The role reports to the Chief Engineer.

The job requires basic mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and strong communication in English. You will collaborate with plant personnel, follow safety rules, and help improve maintenance processes to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance duties and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Assist Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer as required.
• Follow safety rules and policies; work with plant personnel cooperatively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes to reduce downtime.
• Handle tasks as directed by supervision and comply with laws.
