Job summary

Alsco is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform regular preventative maintenance on large industrial textile processing equipment and assist the Chief Engineer as required. The role includes supporting facility maintenance and following safety guidelines across the plant.

Responsibilities include monitoring oil levels, addressing grease fittings, lint traps, and assisting with electrical troubleshooting under supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow instructions.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance of large industrial textile processing equipment and assist technicians as needed.
• Monitor oil levels and conduct preventative maintenance on fittings, lint traps and related components.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution to minimize downtime.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and safety rules at all times.
• Support plant personnel in a cooperative, professional manner.
