Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Maintenance Worker responsible for preventative maintenance of large industrial textile processing equipment and facility upkeep. The role supports the Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer, reporting to the Chief Engineer.

You will monitor oil levels, service grease fittings and belts, follow safety rules, and help reduce downtime. A hands-on team player with basic math, tool use, and good English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to use power/hand tools.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• Team player with initiative and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance including monitoring oil levels and grease fittings.
• Troubleshoot limited electrical issues and assist as needed.
• Follow written/verbal instructions and safety policies.
• Help minimize equipment downtime and improve processes.
• Collaborate with plant personnel in a cooperative, professional manner.
• Transport parts and equipment as required.
