Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Worker to handle regular preventive maintenance of large textile processing equipment and facility upkeep. The role reports to the Chief Engineer and collaborates with maintenance technicians to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include basic maintenance tasks, monitoring systems, and assisting in problem resolution to minimize downtime, while adhering to safety policies and continuous improvement practices. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate adequate mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in the use of power and hand tools.
• Good verbal and written communication in English; follow directions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance duties, monitor oil levels, and conduct preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and assist in resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety rules and procedures; work with plant personnel cooperatively.
• Assist in driving parts and equipment as needed.
• Support maintenance in improving processes and efficiency.
