Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform routine preventative maintenance on large industrial textile processing equipment and oversee facility upkeep. You will assist the Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer, reporting to the Chief Engineer, while ensuring safety and efficient operations.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with hand and power tools. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record free of major violations.
• Adequate mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Proficient use of power and hand tools; good verbal and written English communication.
• Team player with initiative and commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance on large industrial textile processing equipment and facilities.
• Assist the Maintenance Technician and/or Chief Engineer; follow safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor oil levels, grease fittings, lint traps, and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Drive and pick up parts; collaborate with plant personnel; minimize equipment downtime.
