Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform preventative maintenance on large textile processing equipment and handle facility upkeep. The role supports the Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer and reports to the Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, following instructions, and helping improve maintenance processes while adhering to safety rules and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools.
• Good verbal and written communication in English; ability to follow directions and perform basic math.
• Team player with initiative and pride in work; seeking continual quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance duties on large industrial equipment and monitor oil levels.
• Assist Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer as required.
• Follow written/verbal instructions and use available guidelines to complete tasks.
• Contribute to minimizing equipment downtime and improving maintenance processes.
• Maintain safety, act professionally with plant personnel, and comply with laws and company policies.
