Job summary

Google Public Sector is seeking a Field Sales Representative focused on Texas state government accounts. You will drive growth, manage the full sales cycle from needs assessment to successful implementation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored cloud and infrastructure solutions.

You will build trusted relationships with agency stakeholders, navigate public procurement processes, and work to expand our footprint across education and government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in quota-carrying enterprise technology/cloud sales selling into State of Texas departments and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship owner and business generator for named State of Texas accounts.
• Drive new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and manage the entire business cycle from needs assessment to successful implementation.
• Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customer issues, crafting and presenting tailored solutions, partnering agreements, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
• Leverage deep understanding of State Agency challenges and opportunities to build trust and credibility, positioning our company as a partner for infrastructure modernizations, cloud technologies and AI enabled security.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Technical and Industry Specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services, ultimately maximizing business generation and growth within assigned territory.
