Job summary

EPIC Health in Houston is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the strategy, launch, and scaling of clinic operations in Texas. You will partner with executive leadership to build scalable workflows, staffing models, and readiness for new site launches across Houston and surrounding areas.

Initially hands-on to establish strong clinic operations, the role will evolve into broader oversight, focusing on budgets, regulatory compliance, performance, and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Healthcare Administration or related field.
• 5-7+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience.
• Experience in clinic startup/expansion or turnaround environments.
• Strong knowledge of Texas healthcare regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategy for Texas market.
• Scale clinic operations across Houston and surrounding areas.
• Support new site launches with staffing, workflows, and readiness.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across locations.
• Ensure efficient workflows, staffing, and patient care quality.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and compliance with audits and payer requirements.
• Establish KPIs and lead continuous improvement in care delivery.
• Recruit, train, and develop cross-functional teams in a new market.
• Collaborate with corporate teams and stakeholders to align expansion.
• Support EHR and operational system implementation and optimization.
