Job summary

Markey’s seeks an ambitious Business Development Coordinator for our Texas Branch Office, focusing on Austin and San Antonio markets and statewide Texas associations. The role drives new business opportunities while supporting all rental operations processes at the Texas Office.

The position is full-time and exempt, reporting to the Director of Business Development/VP of Hotel Partnerships. Expect daytime hours with occasional evenings or weekends for client meetings and networking events.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in client sales, business development, or hospitality industry preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance/attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal/external customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prospect new business in Austin & San Antonio; develop relationships with Texas associations.
• Engage with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Support rental operations processes at the Texas Branch Office.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand the company’s network.
• Assist in writing and designing proposals and contribute to presentations.
